WHSA High Point Awards Rewarding  our  Members  

HIGH POINTS AWARD I   am   excited   to   announce   the   new   WHSA   High   Point   Awards,   which   look   to  reward  our   active   members  in   each   State   for   promoting   our   versatile  Waler  Horses.    The  categories  have  been  devised  to  include   as  many  of  our  diverse  members  as  possible.       *INTRODUCTORY  HALF  YEAR*   The  Introductory  half-­‐year  will  run  from  01  January  -­‐  30  June  2018.     WHSA   High   Points   Awards   will   then   run   annually   from   01   July-­‐   30   June.         The   WHSA   are   proudly   sponsoring   the   awards   and   there   are   some  great  prizes  up  for  grabs  for  State  Category  winners  and   National  Overall  winners

You  must  be  a  current  financial  WHSA  member   The   horse   must   be   a   Waler   that   is   either   be   a   fully   registered   or   a   foal   recorded   Waler   if   under   3   years   old,   horses   with   a   pending   registration   may   enter   at   the   discretion   of   the   WHSA   Committee   and   the   High   Point   Score   Keeper   The   horse   must  reside  in   the  state   for  points  to   be  accumulated  for  State  Awards   Nomination  and  fees  must  be  received  prior  to   points  being  accumulated  

To Enter

Simply   just   download   and   complete   the   High   Point   Award   Application   form   and   return   to   the   High   Point   Score   Keeper  along   with   a  copy   of   the   entry  fee  which  is  made  payable  to  the  WHSA.

Keeping Score Download   the   High   Point   Score   Card   and   the   Prescribed   Events   Register  Application.       Ensure  your  events  are  recorded  on  the  Events  Register.     Record  your  events  and  placing  on  the  score  card,   accurately   and   in  full  then  return  to  the  High  Points  Score  keeper  no  later  than   two  weeks  after  the  end  of  the  award  year.    It  would  be  a  good   idea  to  keep  your  own  tally.     All   receipts   of   entry   and   evidence   of   placing   must   be   kept   for   validation  purposes.     Good  Luck  and  most  of  all  have  a  waler  of  a  time!     2
