Please drop your child off on the Lipes side of the school so they can enter the building by the cafeteria in the mornings. Between the hours of 8:15 a.m. to 4:35 p.m., there is supervision of students. School hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:25 p.m. Students may use passes written by their parents or teachers to enter the building before school fro tutoring or club meetings When bringing lunch for your child, you may only bring food for your own child, not anyone else. You must check in at the front desk and deliver the food to your student in the cafeteria.
Kaffie Bible Club The Kaffie Bible Club invites everyone to participate in this year’s See You at the Pole on Wednesday, September 27 at 8:00 a.m. at the Kaffie flagpole. All around the world, students will be gathering around their school flagpole and join in prayer. Join us and be a part of an opportunity to pray for Kaffie and our community!

Cafeteria News Please return free lunch applications as soon as possible. If the cafeteria has not received approved lunch applications by October 6, 2017, then students have to pay for their lunch. If a student has a negative balance, he will not be allowed to charge breakfast. If students have a negative balance of $17.50, they will not be able to charge their lunch either.
Kaffie Medical Corps Nurse Shea has started a new club at Kaffie devoted to healthy living, exploring the health profession, and first aid. Kaffie Medical Corps meets on Friday at 8:15 a.m. in room 129.

PTA News Membership drive ends October 31. You Can join on line at Joinpta.org or turn in a Membership envelope into the PTA box in the office.
Teacher Jean week is the last week of October (23rd – 27th). Teachers are asked to donate $25 dollars ($5 a day) to the PTA to be able to wear jeans all week. Teacher can sign up with the PTA or the front office to donate. Teacher Jean week will end with a teacher breakfast on October 27th at 8:00 a.m.
KMS Art Club The club will have its first meeting of the year on September 27th at 8:00 a.m. in Studio 130. The club will hold elections for President, VicePresident, Secretary/Historian and Treasurer. Anyone interested in holding a position, please see Mr. Saenz in Studio 130 by September 22nd for information and to get on the ballot.
