Attendance Policy and Procedures Attendance Line: 303-982-0604 is available 24/7
All absences and tardies must be called within 24 hours of occurrence. Please leave the students name, spell the last name, your name, your relationship to student, reason for absence, date of absence and your phone number. All freshmen and sophomores must be signed out by a parent or guardian in order to be excused. It is a closed campus to all freshmen and sophomores, they are not to leave the school grounds unless signed out by a parent or the absence will not be excused. Prearranged absences – obtain a form in attendance office for absences of more than 2 days. Form must be turned in prior to absence. Students will not be excused for single period absences if they are in the building and did not or have not been signed out. Please have students sign in at the attendance office when they are arriving late or returning from an appointment. The importance of regular, daily attendance as a basis for academic achievement cannot be overemphasized. Absences have a negative effect upon instructional continuity and learning and it could affect the student’s ability to attend a Pomona dance.
