This camp gives priority to CURRENT Doyle students SPACE IS EXTREMELY LIMITED REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, June 1st (no registrations will be accepted after the June 1st deadline) WHEN: July 9th to August 10th, 8am*-12pm, aftercare from 12-5:30pm WHERE: Galvin Middle School WHAT: Mornings will consist of an integrated education program from 9am-12pm and afternoons full of activities, games & on-site presentations from 12-5:30pm. WHO: Certified Teachers until 12pm; Wakefield Academy staff from 12-5:30pm. COST: $50 per day (includes all activities and presentations). $100 deposit due with registration. STAFF: Certified Teachers in the morning until 12pm and Wakefield Academy staff in the Aftercare Program 12-5:30pm. *Early drop-off available every day starting at 7am for an additional $10/day. Payments for early drop-off must be made upon arrival and given to Mr. Jason Pavey in the Learning Commons.

FOOD & BEVERAGE Wakefield Academy will supply drinks and afternoon snacks. Students should bring a morning snack. Children MUST bring a lunch each day. CAFETERIA IS CLOSED. CLOTHING We will be going outside, please send your child with the appropriate clothing and sun block.

LETTER FROM WAKEFIELD ACADEMY: Hello Doyle Families, We are excited to offer a third year of enrichment opportunities for our Doyle students as part of our summer program at the Galvin Middle School. Last year’s program was tremendously successful as our talented and dedicated staff transformed our district’s state-of-the-art middle school into a Pre-K-friendly learning environment. Housing this program at the Galvin provided many benefits to both students and their families. Access to technology and the most innovative learning resources is a unique opportunity for us to offer Wakefield’s youngest learners. Additionally, families with older children found having the Pre-K program at the Galvin to be an added convenience when picking up and dropping off their children for summer programs. Plus, the temperature controlled facilities at the Galvin make for the most comfortable learning environment possible. Age-appropriate indoor and outdoor play areas will be constructed for our Pre-K students, and the bathrooms at the Galvin will be made accessible for all students. Our Pre-K program will run from 8am-12pm Monday through Thursday from July 9th to August 10th. Early morning drop off and Friday care will be available starting at 7am for an additional charge. During the morning portion of each day, our Pre-K students will engage in an integrated education program run by certified WPS educators. During this time, students will build upon the knowledge and skills gained from the previous school year as they prepare to advance to either Kindergarten or another year at the Doyle. In the afternoons, students will work toward building their social skills through a series of play-based learning activities. Ultimately, having our summer program at the Galvin will give students access to everything they would typically have at the Doyle plus so much more!
