From the JR Sapporo Station, the Sapporo Subway Station to the Sapporo Grand Hotel The Sapporo Grand Hotel is an eight minute walk toward south from the JR Sapporo station and the Sapporo subway station. You can take either the street level, Sapporo Ekimae Dori, the main street of the city, or the Sapporo Underground walkway “Sapporo Ekimae Dori Chika Hoko Kukan” (running underneath of Sapporo Ekimae Dori). At the JR Sapporo station, exit through the ticket gate at the West Exit.

Walk approximately 100meters toward the South Exit (to the left) after exiting the west ticket gate.

At the South Exit, look for a 2.5m high marble artwork. Take the escalator located on the right side of the artwork down to the first basement floor.

From the escalator, go approximately 100meters south, and then take the short stairs down to the Namboku line Sapporo subway station.

The entrance to the Sapporo Grand Hotel When you reach the Namboku line Sapporo subway station, you will see the north ticket gate. Do not enter this gate. Keep going forward to the south.

Walk approximately 130meters and you will see the south ticket gate for the Namboku line Sapporo station. Go straight forward while looking at the south ticket gate on left, you will see the entrance to the Sapporo underground walkway straight ahead.

Go outside from the left side of the artwork at the South Exit of the Sapporo station, and go straight down approximately 100meters.

Cross the pedestrian crossing in front of the Cathy Pacific Airlines of the right hand.

Walk approximately 300meters and you will see a large 8 sign on right. The entrance to the Sapporo Grand Hotel (stairs) is after the sign. There is an elevator available before the sign if you have trouble taking stairs.
