Objective of Role: To coordinate with Regional Manager and overlook the sales and marketing function for the assigned Zone of State. Reporting To:- State Head - Sales

Role Description Responsibilities:

Manage Sales & Marketing: o To translate the annual sales plan into quarterly and monthly operational plans and develop, on a regional scale, sales targets and volume goals for each product/brand.

Quarterly/Monthly

o To complete cost and resource requirements, promotional budgets to achieve the required sales forecast and market share for all product categories.

Quarterly/Monthly

o To identify the retailers and look into the closures.

o Responsible for strategic client Servicing, Sustain key interface with clients and set the tone for staff in terms of client servicing expectations.

o Achieve monthly targets and update the reporting head on daily basis.

o Establishes effective communications with appropriate executives and managers in order to maximize the organization's sales effectiveness.

o Maintain daily reports in the set format and abide by the same.

o To oversee development of policies, procedures and objectives for selling the organization's products and services.

o To oversee product/service development, pricing, marketing budgets, and sales objectives.

o To Plan, organize, implements sales programs for the organization and is responsible for achieving overall sales objectives.

o To visit key markets to evaluate operations and provides supervision and leadership to area sales managers.

o To lead local sales associates in distributor management in selecting, developing and monitoring performance of distributors/ wholesalers/ network.

o To provide solid positive leadership of Sales team with clear direction, motivation to achieve expectations both financial and non-financial.

o To coordinate with channel and category managers for effective implementation promotion and advertisement function in the sales territories.

o To coordinate with regional manager approving the local distribution program for various territories depending upon the geography of the sales area.

o To assessing competitive performance by analyzing data on market share performance and analyzing competitor movement in various regions.

o To monitor the monthly/quarterly sales achievement Vs Targets (primary/secondary). Analyze the sales figures and take corrective action incase of non-achievement of targets.

Manage Key Accounts : o To identify Key customer segments/key accounts who add the most value/profit to your organization and communicate their importance to the team.

o To understand the requirements of Institutions, retailer’s and end consumer goals for product lines and uses movement data to create marketing and distribution plans that delivers value to customer.

Manage People : o To communicate the evaluation criteria set for the sales team and motivate, train, evaluate sales force on ongoing basis.

o To timely measure the performance of personnel with regard to the set evaluation parameters- sales management performance assessments and sales performance metrics.

Manage Commercial Activities: o To monitor, analyze MIS reports time-on-time and take necessary actions as required. o Track and monitor sales force expenditures, and compare to budget.
