The subject relating to various grievances more particularly non-availability of medical facilities, drinking water, Safety kits, residential accommodation,transport facility etc to the staff of Rail Wheel Plant was brought to the notice of the Railway Board (MM & MS) vide GSA{FIR's letter of even number datedJanuary 13,2014. During discussionsin the PNM meeting held on 30/31-012014, the statusof various issuesconveyedvide CAO/RWP Bela Chhapra'sletter No. E/RWP/Bela dated2g'hJanuary2014 was furnished to the NFIR by the Railway Board. at Railway The subjectwas also discussedagain in the PNM meetingheld on 19120-12-2014 Board's level. It is unfortunate to convey that the issuesraised more particularly relating to requirement of basic minimum facilities are yet to be addressedby the Administration. The accidentoccurredon 08/01/2015resulting into injuries to three employeeshas generated serious frustration and agony among all employees of the Plant and the Staff feel that the . Administration is not serious to address their genuine problems. They continued to complain on shortageof Doctors,inadequatemedical facilities and hard working conditions.You would appreciate that the railway employees are working under difficult working conditions and they deserve to be looked after adequatelyin the interest of industrial peaceald efficiency of the plant. A copy of PNM agendaitem No. l9l20l3 and Federation'sletter dated 13* Jan2074, referredto above,are enclosed for reference. NFIR, therefore, requestsyou to kindly intervene personally for taking quick remedial measureson the issuesrdisedby the Federationin its pNM agendaunder item no.l9l20l3 and seethat messagggoes among employeesthat the Administration is doing its best to provide required facilities to staff. Federationalso expectsreply from the Administration on each item early.

NFIR, vide series of letters quoted above,had timb and again been conveyingthe grievancesof employeesworking in Rail WheelPlant,Bela Chappra(Saran),Bihar to Railway Board (CRB, MM etc.,) for redressal.Federationis disappointedto note that neither the grievanceshave been redressepnor any communicationhas been sent to the Federation,the employeeshavethus beenfeeling agitated. In this connection,Federationwishesto reiteratethat the gdevancesof staff RWP/Bela as mentionedbelow in brief, are quite genuineand deserveto be looked into seriously.The 2.

The inaction on the part of Administration has compelledthe Federationto includethe grievancesof the staff in the agendafor discussionin the PNM meeting to be held on 30/31 January2014 atthe level of Railway Board. NFIR, therefore, requestthe Railway board (MM & MS) to kindly interveneand see that the legitimate grievancesof staff of RWP/Belaas mentionedabove, are redressedquickly andthe Federationis apprisedof the outcome.
