Federationinvites kind attention of Railway Board to the OMs No. 4112112000P&PW(D) dated.l2th August2015and20thAugustZOison the subjectwhereininstructionshave beenissuedby the Governmentof India to all the Ministries/Departments, to issuepensioners, IdentityCardsto all the pensioners. Federationdesiresto mention-that while the O.M. datedlth August2015hasprescribedthe revisedformatfor Pensioners'Identity Card,the O.M. dated20th August2015statesthat the Identity Cardto pensioners retiringfrom ientral GovernmentOffices in Delhi andotherMetropolitancitiesandbig citiesmay be piinted asplasticcardswith the help of PVC ThermalPrinterwith 600 DPI resolutions.The Governmenthasfurther directedthat in casesuch facility for printing of Plastic Card is not availablein the offrce from where the emplofeeis retiring, the PensionersIdentity Card may be got printed locally from the market. Federation enclosescopiesof the two oMs referredto abovefor reference. NFIR thereforerequeststhe Railway Boardto issuecorrespondinginstructionsto GMs etc., for taking further action.
