Railway Board's attentionis invited to the instructionsissued vide Board's letter dated 1110712011 (RBE No. 661201"7) vide which DoP&PW's orderstogetherwith Concordance tablesfor revisionof Pensionof pre-2016Pensioners/Family Pensioners have beencirculated.The Concordance Tablescirculatedby the Board, unfortunatelydo not cover the pensionrevision of former Running Staff as no separatetables in favour of them staff have been circulatedso far. Reports received by the Federation(NFIR) revealthat the Pension/FamilyPensionof pre-2016RunningStaff is not beingrevised by the Zonal Railwaysdue to non-provisionof separateConcordance Tablesby the Railway Board. In this connection, NFIR desiresto clarify that in caseof formerRunningStaff Pension/Family 'Pensionis requiredto be calculatedtaking into accountthe Basic Pay + 55Yoaddon pay element.A sarnplecalculationsheetof the Pensionin the caseof pre-2016RunningStaff is enclosedas Annexureto this letterfor appreciationand quick action. NFIR, therefore,requeststhe Railway Board to communicatethe Concordance Tablesto the ZonalRailwaysfor revisionof Pension/Family Pensionof formerRunningStaff.It is also urgedthat the Concordance Tablesbe finalizedon the basisof specimen(vide Annexureto this letter)and instructions issuedto theGMs of Zonal Railways.
