INSTRUCTIONS The Chairman of each Republican Count."
Committee in Missouri is expected to make a complete and correct poll of all the voters in hi' county at least s ixt y (60 ) days before the general election. A copy of the same should be furnished tbe Republican State Committee with the result as soon as possible. A complete copy of the poll of the County should fo1low. The poll should be revised from time to time so that the exact voting population and conditions may be known. It should be the duty of the school district committeemen to report to the
Chairman of the precinct committee the change of residence or condition of any voter, and he in turn report-to Chairman of the County Committee and he then reports same to the State Committee. The poll sbould~ be arranged alphabetically and a copy furnished the challengers of each precinct on the day of election ao that each vote may be checked off when cast. At 1 o'clock on election day if any Republican voter has not cast hili ballot he should be sent for at once. In making the poll the correct nam~ and post office address of every male citizen, twenty-one years or over, who has been a resident at least 60 days in the county, and if a foreigner, shall have taken out his "first papers" declaring his citizenship not less than oJ)e or more than five years before he offers to vote; giving occupation; making "X" mark in proper political column to which he belongs. Give his religious affiliation if possible, using "0" for Catholie; "B" for Baptist; OIM" Methodist, etc. For his nationality use "Gr." for German; "Ir." for Irish, etc. All polls should be considered confidential and .results known only to party managers.
