Tasks • • • • • • • •

Develop and apply novel quantitative image processing pipelines Interact with medical experts and customers to translate their demands into product or project specifications Manage and execute quantitative image processing projects within time and budget Develop and execute validation of novel algorithms Discuss the progress and intermediate results of research projects both internally and externally Perform statistical analysis and extract conclusions Generate customer reports on the analysis and the corresponding results Stay informed on the developments and trends in the field, both technical and medical

Ideal profile • • • • • • • • • •

PhD in medical image processing research, preferable in neuroimaging Experience in Scientific Programming (e.g. Python) Sound scientific background Knowledge of open source software packages for neuroimaging is an asset (e.g. SPM, MRtrix, ITK, etc.) Experience with statistical analysis Work accurately and independently Work closely in a multidisciplinary team Eager to learn, positive energy, results-oriented attitude Entrepreneurial, multicultural experience, customer oriented Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
