Mr. Clark Wight University School 20701 Brantley Road Shaker Hts, Ohio 44122 Dear Mr. Wight, I am writing to express my interest in teaching at University School. I am an enthusiastic and experienced science teacher with a passion for educating youth. I hope to bring that passion and excitement to the students of University School. I hold an integrated science Ohio state license for 7th-12th grades. My teaching experience includes Biology, Physical Science, Environmental Science and OGT preparation at Euclid High School. I also taught Earth and Space Science and Biology at Glenville High School during my student teaching and practicum. I believe that I am an excellent candidate for a teaching position at University School. In the past, I have had great success teaching according to the Ohio Academic State Standards in science. I have developed solid qualifications teaching children from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds and ages. While a Children’s Naturalist at the Lake MetroParks Children’s Schoolhouse Nature Park, I developed a passion for educating children about the natural world and I have been able to expand my skills and love of teaching as a high school science teacher over the past four years.
