Elementary School Board Report- Oct. 28-Nov.15 Fall Parent Teacher Conferences were held the week of October 28th. A summary of attendance by grade level and type of conference, is included at the end of this report. Overall, attendance was excellent! Drama Club Performance: Our students attended the High School Dram Club performance of Cinderella Redux. Mrs. Arnold and Mr. Lee were very accommodating in arranging this special performance for our students. Veteran’s Day was celebrated in the elementary gym and commons, including the entire staff and student body from grades K-12. We appreciate the many veterans who attended this celebration of local heroes. Our fourth grade students were featured, as they sang a song under the direction of Mrs. Della Schemmel. Accounting for Kids program was provided on November 12th for our fifth grade students by local accountants and parents: Tricia Pohl, Steve Eiting, and Pat Butler. This is a great interactive financial awareness program and we appreciate the time and expertise of the guest speakers. Principals Advisory fall meeting was held on November 13th at 7:30 PM. Topics included: Updates to Crisis Plan following ALICE Training, district report card information from ODE, and parent to parent contact with new families. Grade level representatives for the 2013-14 school year are: K Mandy Albers 4 Barb Blanco 1 Lisa Wuebker 5 Carly Wagner 2 Heather Wenning 6 Jeff Wolf 3 Charity Ranly COSI on Wheels, Exploring Ecology was presented to our students on November 14 th.
