TIMETABLE The general schedule of classes is from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Infant care for children is from 7.45am to 6.00pm. Personalized service for families in cases of specific need, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at a cost of 8€. The teaching method through Early Stimulation is preferably in the morning, when children are more relaxed and more receptive to learning; so punctuality is highly appreciated. Little children in kindergarten can have a nap from 1:00pm to 2:30pm From 4:40pm to 5:00 pm you can enter the building to pick up your children from Kindergarden. At 5.00pm the door will be closed and the secretary will call children except the ones of Kindergarten. KINDERGARTEN SERVICE: Childcare services on Christmas, Easter and September are specified in the school calendar year.

PARENTAL TRACKING TOWARDS THE CHILD To promote the integral development of the personality of the child, parents and teachers have to cooperate in their education and welfare. 1. Personal Coaching: Once the course has begun, we will notify the families the assigned coach to each student and her timetable. To arrange an interview with her, you only have to contact the school Alexia’s app. Please respect the stated timetable (You have a script tutorial (paper and app) in order to prepare the interview in advance). We recall you the need to talk with the counselor regularly, it is advisable once a quarter, and the importance that both, father and mother, attend the interview. 2. Parent meetings: It is important to attend school meetings. Teachers inform parents about the dynamics of the classroom and objectives of the course. This may facilitate the monitoring of the student from home.

SECRETARY Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm for Kindergarten and until 18.30 in the Central Building. Phone number: 972 22 75 49 COMMUNICATION WITH THE TEACHER If you need to send a message to your child’s teacher, you can do so writing on the agenda, in case of Kindergarten children, or writing a note for the rest of children, or calling at this time: - Nursery and P-3: From 10.30 am to 11.00am - P-4 and P-5: From 11.00 am to 11.30 am. Teachers can not attend kindergarten families early in the morning or afternoon when you come to pick up or carry the children, since attending a family would mean to leave alone the whole group. In the case of students in kindergarten, the agenda, which they take home daily, is the usual mean of communication.

COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS Website: Informative sheet, calendar, newsletter, menu, news, announcements and letters. You will get informed monthly about the activities to be undertaken on the School Web. The informative fact sheet is a summary of the detailed project work done at Preschool which is also posted on the Web. The internal messages and letters will be notified via e-mail through Weekly Information / Newsletter that will bring together the information of the week. You only have to click on the statement of interest, which will take you to more extended information. Remember to check the website regularly. You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

MARRIAGE COURSE MANAGER

Every course is represented by a married couple that acts as a uniting element among the families of their course and the school, representing parents throughout the year. Its functions are: a) Be informed of the ideology of the school and to inform other parents. Able to transmit to their children and other parents a correct image of the school. b) To promote, encourage and consolidate the activities that the school organizes with their collaboration. c) Arbitrate ways to connect and establish friendship between the parents of the course as a way to facilitate a family atmosphere necessary to develop the ideas of the school. d) Adequately channel initiatives and suggestions from parents. e) Assist in promoting the school of correctly reporting style education and achieve the goals proposed. THE HUMAN TRAINING: MILLOREM I ATRIUM

The human training plan of our students is called. “Let’s improve." They are short sentences that are understandable and which aim is to reach those human qualities that we consider important in Early Childhood Education. The family is the proper scope for development and acquisition. The school promotes educational activities for parents. In collaboration with families and supporting the parental responsibility in the transmission of faith, ATRIUM Project educates and promotes the religious ability of children with a methodology based on knowledge of sensitive periods in the levels of 3 to 5 years. REGULATION OF COEXISTENCE The Regulation of Cohabitation at Les Alzines School approved by the School Board, is the document that governs the internal workings of the center. Emanating from the decree 266/1997 (Official Journal nº 2503) on the rights and

responsibilities of students in non-university level centres in Catalonia. This regulation is exposed to new parents at the first quarterly meeting. ATTENDANCE AND TIMELY Class absences will be justified sending the classes tutor a note prior to the absence. If there is an unforeseen absence, it must be notified at the school admissions office before 10.00am in order to facilitate the attendance control. Maximum punctuality is requested; If for any reason this is not possible, students (P3, P4 & P5) are requested to come to class with the school overall put on in order not to interrupt the activity. TRANSPORTATIONS The school has a bus service from P-3. Parents will receive instructions with schedules stops. For proper operation of this service is very important not to change the course or the transportation system of the kid. Any emergency must be notified by phone before 3.00pm to Victoria Ribary or the Secretary of Preschool. MEDICAL CARE The school has established an "individual accident insurance" and "liability insurance" for each student which covers accidents that may occur anywhere within the students of the college, as well as those who may suffer during the direct routes to their private residences or vice versa, using the normal means of transport, including trips and group outings. Children will be taken to the healthcare center indicated on the insurance of the school (currently Clinical Onyar), unless there is explicit indication of parents to take them to another healthcare center, considering that in this case the insurance of the school will not cover it.

HEALTH AND PREVENTION MEASURES If one day the child feels sick at school we will call you immediately to pick her/him up. Children who have an infectious disease (though not serious) or parasitic infections such as lice can should not be at school to avoid possible infection. To avoid poisoning by drugs in the school, the Department of Health recommends not to administer any medication to students and it is the intention of the school to follow this recommendation. Students with any kind of intolerance have to bring the document for renewal this year 2015/2016.

BIRTHDAY Children love birthday celebrations so they can bring a sweet (better without the post) but better not to bring gifts or candy bags, neither cakes (to avoid possible poisoning or allergies ....). We also recommend you not to involve the school when celebrating birthday parties. We would like to inform you that the school can not provide any telephone of the school families, according to the Data Protection Act (Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December 1999 on the protection of data). The MEC will have the telephone numbers which have been authorised by their parents. MATERIAL AND SCHOOL UNIFORM
