Reading of Aims & Objectives Cr. Aparna was requested to read out the Aims and Objectives of Ladies Circle India, and all others present joined in. Apologies for absence Cr. Kavita, Cr. Molly and Cr. Ashima sent their apologies for absence. Welcome of Guests/Visiting Circlers/Honorary Circlers A very warm welcome was given to prospective Circlers Manisha and Sarika. Appointment of Sergeant Cr. Nandita was appointed the Sergeant for the evening. Confirmation of minutes of the previous meeting The Minutes of the previous meeting were not circulated, and were deferred for the next meeting. Communications sent and received Incoming: Receiving E-Letters, Minutes of all the Umang Group of Secretaries and Invitations for various projects being done by all the Circles. Chairperson’s time-Cr.Ritu Singh • Stitching Class Project was successfully started at Acharya Narayan Dev Academy on the 4th of Feb, 2009. All the conveners were further reminded of their duties. • It was decided to gift Sewing machines to the best students of the project to commemorate the occasion of LC International’s Charter Day. • It was decided to donate Household goods worth Rs. 10,000/- from the Fund to a needy girl who was to get married on the 10th of February. Cr. Ritu and Cr. Jyoti offered to attend this wedding and hand over the gifts there. • The Circlers were reminded of the Surprise party on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, on the evening of 13th Feb. • Cr. Luna and Cr. Aparna were requested to participate in the National Competition “Gata Rahe Mera Dil”. • It was reminded that 17th of March was the LC India Charter Day, and suggestions were called for celebration of the same. • A mention was made for the Project- “Star of Hope” which requires us to build an infrastructure of a school for the disabled children.

Twinklers Club Convenor Cr LunaIt was informed that the Twinklers’ Pins were ready for dispatch for Rs. 50/each. Cr. Priyanka was requested to order them on the behalf of every Twinkler. Any other matter LRT 136 Chairman Tr. Abhishek welcomed all and the Area 8 Chairperson. He also reminded that the RTI school was to be made functional, and it was decided to visit the school on the 8th of Feb. Tabler Rakesh Ladhani and Cr. Manisha Ladhani were inducted as new Tabler and Circler, respectively, and were congratulated by all. Sergeant’s Time Sergeant’s fine of Rs.50/- each was collected from Cr. Monisha, Aparna, Tanu, Priyanka and Luna. A sunshine amount of Rs 50/- each was collected from Cr Smita, Cr Reema and Cr Nandita. Total amount collected was Rs. 400/Date and Venue of the next meeting Date and venue of the next meeting to be decided and conveyed to all later. Vote of Thanks Chairperson Cr.Ritu extended her thanks to all present. Closure of the meeting The meeting was terminated with a toast to LC India and LC International.
