Accountability Plan (LCAP) April 16th Last spring we created our first LCAP document with assistance and input from all stakeholders to include; parents, students, NDA staff, and our board of directors. This document, with goals and action items directed at student success will be reviewed and updated this spring. School staff, the board of directors and the advisory council have reviewed the goals and we hope to get feedback and

suggestions from all families and stakeholders. Laura will be available during the Redding testing session on Tuesday April 14th from 9-10:00 AM and on Tuesday, April 21st to talk about LCAP with parents who are on site with their children while they are taking the test. In Shasta County you are also invited to attend a parent meeting : Thursday, April 16th at 6:30 PM

In Modoc County and the Fall River /Burney area, your teachers and Laura will be talking to you about LCAP during learning period meetings. Finally, I will be meeting with NDA students in Redding on March 24 and March 26 at National University. I will be calling parents one week prior to set up appointments. I will be visiting Burney on March 30th and will meet those students at Gepettos. I will see Alturas students on April 1st at NDA. Again, I will be calling to set up these appointments one week prior to the above dates. Developing an Ed Plan is instrumental for a student's success, not only in high school, but beyond and now more than ever. I wholeheartedly encourage you to make the effort to meet and discuss your student's educational and career options. Again, I look forward to meeting with you and of being of service to you. High School Banquet Our high school banquet is April 24th, from 6 to 9 PM. This is a fun high school event for all NDA 9th –12th graders. NDA students may invite one guest to enjoy a delicious buffet meal in the Sundial Room at the Red Lion Hotel in Redding, CA. This is a semi-formal event, so we ask that students and their guests dress appropriately. That means nice shirts and slacks

for the gentleman, and nice dresses or blouse/slack/skirts for the ladies. We hope to have a DJ present to play music during the event, and as always, we will have fun games, prizes, and a raffle drawing! You must sign up by emailing [email protected] in order to attend this event. Also, once you know the name of your guest, please email that to me as well.

Senior Slideshow Pictures For our NDA seniors who are planning to walk at the Redding graduation ceremony this year, we ask that you please participate in the Senior Slideshow!
