RECLASSIFICATION OF THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1982, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.

The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region IX, Zamboanga City, the Provincial Governor, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the Provincial Treasurer ar}d the Provincial Auditor of Zamboanga del Sur and Others Concerned.

Pursuant to Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 465, the province of Zamboanga del Sur maintains its present classification as First Class, effective July 1, 1982, on the basis of its average annual income of $9,276,975.51 actually realized during the last four (4) calendar years (1978-1981), as certified by the Commission on Audit in its letter dated March 18, 1983. Furthermore, pursuant to Section 3 of the said Decree and on the basis of the average annual income of $10,836,189.45 actually realized during the last two (2) consecutive calendar years (1950-1981), as certified also by the said Commission, the province of Zamboanga del Sur maintains its present subclassification as First Class-A also effective July 1, 1982. The foregoing classification and sub-classification of the said province shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets as well as the maximum salary rates of local government officials and employees concerned in accordance with existing law and regulations.
