RECLASSIFICATION OF MUNICIPALITIES IN THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.

The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region IV, Provincial Governor, Municipal Mayors, the Local Sangguniang, Provincial and Municipal Treasurers, Provincial Auditor and Others Concerned.
Pursuant to Section 5 of Presidential Decree No. 465, the following municipalities in the province of Cavite are hereby reclassified, effedtive July 1, 1978, on the basis of their average annual income actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive fiscal years (1974-1977), as certified by the Commission on Audit under letter dated December 10, 1979, as follows: AVERAGE INCOME MUNICIPALITIES 1. 2. 3. 4.

However, the municipalities of Carmona and Imus maintain their present classifications as Fifth and Third Class considering their average annual income of P276,944.92 and P933,163.52, respectively, actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive fiscal years (1974-1977), as certified also by the said Commission. The foregoing classifications shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of local government officials and employees in accordance with existing law and regulations. This accordingly supplements Ministry Order No. 23-SO dated January 25, 1980, this Ministry.
