SUBJECT= RECLASSIFICATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF KAWIT IN THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1982 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.

: The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region IV, the Provincial Governor, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the Provincial Treasurer and the Provincial Auditor of Cavite, the Municipal Mayor, the Sangguniang Bayan and the Municipal Treasurer of Kawit and Others Concerned.

Pursuant to Section 5 of Presidential Decree No. 465, the municipality of Kawit in the province of Cavite is hereby reclassified from Third Class to First Class effective July 1, 1982, on the basis of its average annual income of x1,691,845.55 actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive claendar years (1978-1981), as certified by the Commission on Audit in its letter dated January 24, 1985. Furthermore, pursuant to Section 6 of the aforementioned Decree, the municipality of Kawit is hereby sub-classified as First Class-C, likewise effective July 1, 1982, on the basis of its average annual income of !1,924,420.31 actually realized-during the last two (2) consecutive calendar years (1980-1981), as certified also by the Commission on Audit. The foregoing classification and sub-classification shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of municipal officials and employees of Kawit in accordance with existing law and regulations.
