MINISTRY ORDER NO. September 6, 1983 SUBJECT:

RECLASSIFICATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1982, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.

The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region IT, the Provincial Governor, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the Provincial Treasurer and the Provincial Auditor of Batangas, the Municipal Mayor, the Sangguniang Bayan and the Municipal Treasurer of San Jose and Others Concerned.

Pursuant to Section 5 of Presidential Decree No. 465, the municipality of San Jose in the province of Batangas is hereby reclassified from Fifth to Third Class, effective July 1, 1982, on the basis of its average annual income of P575,765.03 actually realised during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (1978-1981)a as certified by the Commission on Audit under letter dated June 15, 1983. The foregoing classification shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aide and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of municipal officials and employees of San Jose in accordance with existing law and regulations. This supplements Ministry Order No. 19-83 dated March 3, 1983 of this Ministry. By authority of the Minister:
