MINISTRY ORDER NO. 21:L August 23, 1982 SUBJECT:

RECLASSIFICATION OF THE PROVINCE OF QUEZON, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1982, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 465.

The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region IV, Provincial Governor, Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Provincial Treasurer and Auditor, and Others Concerned.

Pursuant to Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 465, and on the basis of the average annual income of P18,388,278.24 actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive calendar years (1978-1981), as certified by the Commission on Audit under letter dated April 29, 1982, the present classification of the Province of Quezon as a First Class province is hereby maintained, effective July 1, 1982. Furthermore, on the basis of its average annual income of £21,467,509.44 actually realized during the last two (2) consecutive calendar years (1980-1981), Quezon also maintains its present sub-classification as First Class-A, also effective July 1, 1982, pursuant to Section 3 of said Presidential Decree. The foregoing classification and sub-classification of the said province shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of local government officials and employees in accordance with existing law and regulations.
