: All Regional Directors for Local Government Finance, Provincial, City and Municipal Treasurers and Assessors, and others concerned.

The Minister of Finance in its 1st indorsement dated October 4, 1982 authorized the conduct of a three-day regional conference workshop for the members of the Provincial, City and Municipal Treasurers and Assessors Association (PACTAA), Inc. in accordance with.the following schedules: (1) Mindanao - Regions IX, I, XI and XII November 9, 10 and 11 in Cagayan de Oro City (2) Visayan - Regions VI, VII and VIII November 23, 24 and 25 in Iloilo City (3) Luzon

- Regions I, II, III, IV, Metro Manila and V December 7, 8 and 9 in Manila

The three-day conference workshops are designed to up-date local treasurers and assessors and ranking member of the local treasury and assessment services on the latest programs, policies, trends and developments in local government. finance; prepare them for changes which the enactment of the Local Government Code could be expected to bring about; and, in general, improve skills in tax collection, fund management and internal control systems. The following are hereby authorized to attend the aforesaid three day regional conference workshops: 1. Regional Directors for Local Government Finance or their Assistants; 2. Provincial and City Treasurers or their Assistants; 3. Provincial and City Assessors or their Assistants; 4. Municipal Treasurers and Assessors or their Assistants; 5. Administrative Deputies and Chief Deputy Assessors. Participants to the Regional Conference Workshops are authorized to pay a conference workshop fee of P400 which may be charged against the appropriations of their respective offices.

Attendance in the said conference workshops is hereby authorized as on official business for the period covered and the participants are entitled to the usual transportation expenses, per diems and daily allowances, subject to the availability of funds and the usual audit requirements. Likewise, the attendance of the personnel complement of the Secretariat of the PACTAA in the three-day regional conference workshops is hereby authorized as on official time. The Regional Directors for Local Government Finance are hereby instructed to transmit the contents hereof to all Provincial and City Treasurers and Assessors in their regions. Likewise, Provincial Treasurers and Assessors are hereby instructed to disseminate the same information to all municipal treasurers and assessors under their respective jurisdictions.
