Vision: To become a service organization of international reach and repute for charity endeavors, work for gainful education, adept health and conducive living conditions of the pretermitted. Mission: The Mission of the Trust is to involve in non-profit, charitable activities in the area of education, environment, medical and human services by providing a support system to improve the education and safeguard of the environment. Objectives:
Identify deficiency in public educational institutions and enhance the quality of amenities and the faculty.
To bring about a significant change in the quality of education delivered.
To efficiently link the deserving institutions/students with donors willing to aid.
To identify and gather a group of capable individuals volunteering the task of imparting and ensuring quality education and amenities to the deserving students.
To supports activities that develop quality medical/health care services for needy people and to improve the living condition of community.
To conduct General Medical/Health Camps, Blood Donation Camps, etc.
To promote/support the use of sustainable natural resources to save our environment for the future generations

Although the newsletter format is limited in the amount of in-depth information, it can provide details of all the latest activities of the trust. Gokul Scientist, Satish Dhawan Space Centre Indian Space and Research Center (ISRO), Sriharikota “It‟s my gratitude to express thanks from bottom of my heart to persons who are considerate and getting united to bring socio-economic changes in lives of down-trodden by updating the happening contributions of ULLAM FOUNDATION Annual Newsletter. This newsletter provides the insight into social-activities & projects carried by the foundation in a brief manner. I appreciate the team effort of Ullam Foundation for getting a unique authorization number from Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science & Technology Government of India. I assure this will enable foundation to attract more number of works on science and technology towards rural India. As a part of foundation I would be partial if I don‟t mention the support provided by volunteers and donors, without that socioeconomic ideas couldn‟t be materialized. Constructive criticism, positive suggestion will be appreciated & respected.
Activities 2015-2016 World Environmental Day 2015 was celebrated at TVKV School, Vaniyambadi, Vellore District on June 06, 2015. Ullam Foundation member Mr. Niganandhan delivered speech on „Environmental Pollution and Prevention Methods‟ to the school students. Quiz competition based on environmental issues was conducted to the school students and prizes were distributed to the winners. Ullam Foundation has sponsored two students to continue their college education during the academic year 20152016. Ms.P.Madhumitha to purse B.Com (First Year) at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur and Mr.K.Vijay to purse DEEE (First Year) at Government Polytechnic College, Korukkai, Thiruthuraipoondi. Workshop on “Higher education and jobs after schooling” was conducted on November 07, 2015 at Government Higher Secondary School, Vallipattu Village, Vaniyambadi Taluk. During this program, the detailed description about the courses available in Engineering & Technology, Medical Science, Arts, Science, Law, Commerce and Management and their respective job opportunities were explained to the students. This program was inaugurated by the school Head Master Mr.Annadurai. The sessions were handled by our members Mr.B.Deepanraj, Mr.G.Arunkumar and Mr.B.Vinothraj. More than 100 student participants from +2 were participated in the workshop.
The 2015 South Indian floods resulted from heavy rainfall affected the Coromandel Coast regions of Tamilnadu, specifically Chennai and Cuddalore. Support towards Chennai and Cuddalore District flood relief was made through Ullam Foundation on 12/12/2015. Flood relief materials worth of Rs.21,840/- such as mats, bed sheets, medicines, dresses, food materials like biscuit, bread and water bottles were supplied to the needy people. Our members Mr.S.Niganandhan, Mr.A.Santhoshkumar, Mr.B.Deepanraj and Mr.R.Pachaiyappan collected these materials and handed over them to the affected persons. Republic Day Speech and Essay Competition was conducted by Ullam Foundation at Panchayat Union Elementary School, Echangal Village, Vaniyambadi Taluk on January 26, 2016. On the same day, Elocution and drawing competition was conducted at Panchayat Union Elementary School, Periya Kurumba Theru, Alangayam Block, Vaniyambadi Taluk. Certificates and prizes were given to the winners of each events. Complementry prizes were given to encourage participants.
Ullam Foundation has received VIPNET (network of Indian Science Clubs) affiliation from VIGYAN PRASAR (http://www.vigyanprasar.gov.in), an autonomous organisation under Department of Science & Technology, Government of India on February 16, 2016. The Unique Authorisation Number for the club is VP-TN0033. This affiliation was given to promote the activities related to Science and Technology.
Are you aware that in India, out of 1.3 billion people, 11% still lack access to clean water, 70% lack adequate sanitation and 25% live below poverty level. Volunteers are welcome to participate in the Trust activities like identifying the deserving poor students, suggesting good projects, promotional activities (forwarding to your known persons), any donations, etc. You can also support us by spending your time spare time. The contribution that every single volunteer makes is very significant. As a volunteer, your support will provide the great benefit for the development of society.
