Students in both Ms. Galloway's and Ms. Tyndall's classes enjoyed Triton High School's Second Annual Renaissance Festival as a capstone to their studies of Shakespeare's plays and the Italian and English Renaissance. Students rotated among three stations -- Medieval Falconry demonstrations with live birds of prey, a traditional festival faire, and a mystery room break out challenge. Art students also assisted in making the day possible by creating photo-booth props, painting King Henry VIII and his wives bowling balls and pins, and painting participants' faces. Ms. Tyndall and Ms. Galloway would like to thank all parents and faculty who were so vital to the success of this day by contributing both donations and time. All students enjoyed this interactive, immersive learning event. The annual athletic awards banquet will be Thursday, May 18th. The meal will be served from 5:30 to 6:30pm in the cafeteria. The awards program will start at 6:30pm. Tickets will go on sale next week in advance for $10 and at the door for $15. All athletes will eat for free but must get a ticket from their coach.
