A Look Inside our NCWCC Library …
Carl Herreid
Just reached into our library and took a random copy of a "Wood Carving" magazine found on one of the shelves. This happened to be Issue No 27, for Summer 2004. Inside I found three articles which I found interesting. First was an article by Bill Howrilla on "Carving Caricature Golfers", which showed several of his carvings along with a copy of the pattern he used to make his golfer. 3
The second was an article by Harley Refsal on "Carve A Scandinavian - Style Troll". Included in the article were Step by Step examples of his flat plane carving along with the pattern for this particular "Troll".
The third was an article by Steve Brown on carving "Light and Fan Pulls". Along with a pattern for the Light Pull shown in the article. Lots of good ideas can be found by looking through our library. Hope you take advantage of the facility.
Other Info Canes for Vets: Please get the canes back for vet's. .
