Tournament of Minds New Zealand 2017 Tournament of Minds allows you to encourage stimulating and inspirational thinking in your students. It has been running in Lower Hutt for the past 9 years and was run in Auckland, Palmerston North and Christchurch for the first time in 2015. Come along and learn why over 30,000 students in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong flock to TOM each year. Outcomes: As a result of participating in a TOM workshop, it is expected that facilitators will have achieved the following outcomes: Confidence:  in training a TOM Team Knowledge:  about the Instruction Manual  about team selection Skills in:  promoting team building & co-operation  catering to the needs of gifted and talented students  developing creative, critical and caring thinking  time management  developing problem solving techniques  integrating the benefits of TOM into a total school plan Date and Venue:        
