It examines the implications of VAT registration and the requirement to produce accurate financial information for tax and other purposes. This is a practical workshop that will help you understand and use a recommended Book keeping System Business Start Up - Business Planning It is essential to have a realistic, working business plan when you're starting up a business. This workshop shows you how to create a robust business plan.

Find out what all the buzz is about and gain an understanding of how social networking could help grow your business. This workshop provides a an overview of how social networking works and then helps you to choose an appropriate social networking identity (Avatar) across multiple social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.) Delegates will then be taken through how to set up a Twitter account for their Business with lots of hints and tips on how to get the most from this extremely popular micro blogging network – You will be sending your first Tweets by the end of the workshop! Please ensure you have access to an online email account. Marketing Your Business This workshop will help you create a realistic marketing plan designed to improve your marketing efforts and ultimately lead to more sales. Excel Your Accounts This workshop is for those who would like to take advantage of electronic spreadsheets and transfer their manual bookkeeping system onto a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. It looks at creating new workbooks, entering and editing data, inserting and deleting cells, columns and rows, using the auto sum function, entering calculations, formatting and printing. The workshop is entirely ‘hands on’, so those attending will get practice in using Microsoft Excel to create and modify actual spreadsheets using formulae to automate calculations.
