3. Approval of Agenda Brian Dugan made a motion to accept the Board Meeting Agenda as presented which was seconded by Kenneth Ramsey. The motion passed with a 4 – 0 vote.
II. Approval of Consent Agenda Items A. Minutes of Previous Regular Session B. Transfer Items C. Payment of Bills D. Financial Report Brian Dugan made a motion to accept the Consent Agenda Items as presented which was seconded by Steve Kuczka. The motion passed with a 4 – 0 vote.
At 7:03 pm Abe Eoff joined the meeting III. Administrator Reports A. Athletics Reports Athletic Director Ronda Hubbard gave a Fall Sports Rundown (attachment A) Football is establishing a Matt Walker award to highlight those who exhibit courage and sacrifice. a) Coach Dallas Coach David Dallas addressed the Board to sum up the 2017 football season.

Principals Report Elementary Principal Kimberly Bequette thanked the parents of those students present for the Elementary Highlight Middle School Assistant Principal, Deb Stukey, addressed the Board: Benchmarks from Aimsweb RTI will be more aggressive Starting a after school tutoring program 93% attendance Mrs. Villmer is a great addition to the MS o Doing Character Ed lessons o Working with Mr. Cagle in the Pathways program o Working with Coach Dallas in groups with football players Paws to Claws initiative collected and delivered over $8,000 of personal and school items for O.H. C. Superintendents Report Superintendent, Matt Zoph, reported that many teachers have gotten programs through Donors Choose passed and it is a great resource and the PLC goals are bing worked on. IV. Video presentations and reflections by 4th and 5th grade students, of other 4th and 5th grade students interview about Math and Science lessons completed this year: Mrs. Porterfield and Mrs. Albert a) Clinton Pennock b) Dylan Bomarito c) Jade Rahmberg d) Sydney Riddle 4th and 5th grade math and science students outlined a typical day for them in science and math classes.

Approval of Cross Country Trip to Louisville Steve Kuczka made a motion to approve the Cross Country trip to Louisville to be paid with fund raised money which was seconded by Brian Dugan. The motion passed with a 5 – 0 vote. B. Overnight Band Trip Approval Brian Dugan made a motion to approve the band trip to SIUE on Jan 19-20 and to Truman State on February 9-10 to be paid by fund raised money which was seconded by Steve Kuczka. The motion passed with a 5 – 0 vote. C. Non-Certified Volunteer Coach Executive Session D. Selection of Board Workshop Date Moved to Items for Discussion E. for information concerning dates available to board members. VI. Items for Discussion/Information A. B. Official Enrollment Numbers
The official enrollment numbers on September 27, 2017 was presented to the Board. See Attachment B C. Continuing to give ACT to all Juniors Superintendent Mat Zoph informed the Board of the decision to continue providing the ACT test to Juniors at a cost of $2,146. D. MSBA Conference Review Board President, Bob Gearhart said the Missouri School Board Association conference was very informative and that the Board will have a special workshop to amass the information learned and will present a list of information at the next regular meeting. E. Board Workshop Date The Board will meet on a mutually beneficial date to discussion information learned at the Missouri School Board Association conference.
VI. Executive Session At 9:07 p.m. Brian Dugan made a motion to enter into Executive Session to discuss matters pursuant to RSMo §610.021 (3), (6), and (1) which was seconded by Abe Eoff. The motion passed with a 5 – 0 vote. Roll Call
