POSITION SUMMARY The Office Manager will provide support for the staff of the Student Services to include general office functions as well as assist with programming needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Office Support Provide reception for visitors to the Department Coordinate student activity events by processing event planning paperwork, essential marketing, and keeping activity calendar Maintain records for assessment, reports (external and internal), and student information Assist with budget tracking for the athletic department, student services department, Christmas in the Chapel, student plays, chapel account, Restoration Week accounts, and additional areas as needed Maintain housing information Maintain health care information Assist in filing reports to different agencies Student Services Assist students in finding the information or personnel needed to solve a problem or provide a service Coordinate supplies, volunteer assignments, scheduling, etc. for new student move-in and orientation Assist with Life@LCU and AIM as needed as part of new student orientation Oversee iServe student workers Maintain chapel attendance records Maintain service learning records Maintain SFG (Spiritual Formation Group) attendance records Engage in professional development as opportunities are made available Accept as true LCU’s Statement of Faith and support LCU’s mission, vision, core values and philosophy of education Adhere to all University policies faithfully including the Employee Handbook and live “above reproach” Attend campus employee meetings and trainings as scheduled Other duties and projects as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Commitment to the mission and vision of the University Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
Ability to multi-task, manage, and prioritize multiple projects and work independently and collaboratively Proven success and experience in interacting effectively with diverse populations Ability to work some irregular hours, evenings, and weekends as requested
