Freedom and Responsibility for Kindergarten and Lower Elementary: When we give freedoms to our children, they also take on responsibility. What does this balance of freedom and responsibility look like for 5- to 9-yearolds? We will give examples of this balance seen at school and help you support your child’s growth in these areas at home. Kindergarten teacher Taryn Kampe and Lower Elementary teacher Tamra Kenyon will lead this discussion. Freedom and Responsibility for Upper Elementary: Older children can balance various freedoms and responsibilities. Upper Elementary teachers Alix Breiling and Wendy Williams will lead a discussion about this balance in relation to 9- to 12-year-olds, including a discussion about technology, allowance and philanthropy. Essential Oils for Children: Improved physical, intellectual, and emotional wellness through essential oils. Learn basic strategies to support your child through the use of essential oils with Erin Beaudette. RMS Outcomes: We will highlight and explore student outcomes of an RMS education. Teaching Coach Mandi Franz and teacher Rob Hurley will share what we hear about our graduates from the schools they transition to and we will also have some RMS alumni on hand to talk about ways they have taken their RMS education off campus and out into the wider world.
