At the end of this unit, your student should be able to:   

Make inferences based on information from text. Analyze how a plot unfolds including conflict and resolution. Organize, establish a point of view and use techniques to write and informative/explanatory piece of writing. Analyze text structure and how it contributes to development of text. Compare/contrast content in diverse medias and different genres. Identify the tone of a piece of writing and determine how mood is affected by tone. Analyze the use of flashback and foreshadowing in text/literature. Use text evidence to support analysis of text.
