Policies are designed to give organizations information on facility use and protect the property.

“Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the Church of God, which He obtained with His own Blood.” (Acts 20:28) TEAMWORK is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results. ASPIRE… In building the life we’ve imagined, we must be true to our beliefs, dare to be ethical, and strive to be honorable.

We have work to do! By Bishop Gerald Barnes Diocese of San Bernardino The following was taken from a homily Bishop Gerald Barnes gave at the 125th Anniversary Mass at St. Anthony, San Jacinto on June 13. Readings for review: Isaiah 61:1-3d; Luke 10:1-9 Everything is relative when we talk about age. Think of how much has changed in 125 years. Look at how travel has changed. I was in St. Louis, Missouri for a Bishops Meeting this week and I was here the same day, a four-hour trip. How long did it take them back then? Everything seems to have changed. Today we give thanks for the one thing that has remained constant here, the faith of the people in San Jacinto. We thank God for that. It is a faith that has gotten people through very joyous times and very difficult times. So we thank God for the people who have built this faith community of St. Anthony of Padua, for the hope that they held before them for many years and for the community they formed, a community of charity. Today we are told in the scriptures who we are to be. We heard what our faith was to be and has been. The prophet told us that our faith was to always proclaim the favor of the Lord, announce it at all times and in all ways. We are to proclaim liberty to the captives and release the prisoners, offer comfort to those who mourn and the broken hearted. That has been done here and it has been done well. So we live in gratitude. We hear what the Lord says. The harvest is great the Lord Jesus says. Sometimes we fail to see it. We fail to see that there are those who are ready to be gathered, ready to be collected. There are those who are out there waiting to hear the Good News. The 12 disciples have their role, but the 72 are needed. Seventy-two, a great number, meaning all are sent to the entire world, because the harvest is great. There are people looking to find hope. We need to reach these people. The Lord says open your eyes! Look at the needs of the community. Who are the captives here? Those who are addicted to all kinds of things, they need to be freed. Look at the youth who are looking for hope, who are looking to continue their lives in the world and give glory to God in the world. Look at them. They are in need of hearing the Good News of the world. Look at our elderly. Don’t pass them by. Listen to their stories; accompany them on their journey. Do not forget them. Touch the lives of the sick. Let them know that you care. The harvest is great. The Lord says the 12 are not enough. I need the 72. They are the laborers. They are the ones to carry the message out, to provide healing. They are the ones to carry out my word into their everyday lives. The 72 are you. You have a job and the rewards are out of this world! Open your eyes and look around. The harvest is plenty. Let us keep the faith of this community alive. We are disciples of Jesus. We are called to carry the message in the world so the world can be transformed and so the people may know God’s love and God’s mercy. We are the 72 of today. We are the disciples of the Lord Jesus and we have a mission.
