PRAYER LIST FOR MAY 02, 2013 Praises Jon McKeone started at a new job last week. Please continue to pray for him as he negotiates a pretty steep learning curve. Health Related Margaret Clark’s Brother In Law is being treated at UVA medical center for liver cancer (04/11). Sue Mohan is set to have knee replacement surgery on the 13th of May. (05/02) Joyce Davis, JD’s mother, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pray for her and her family as they make decisions about her treatment. (04/11) Lori DeSantis, a good friend of Judy’s, has been diagnosed with emphysema and COPD. She has had a bad reaction to the inhaler that was prescribed. (03/14) Elsie Gunther has been discharged from Heritage Hall and is back with Rod and Connie while waiting on a room to open up at Spring Arbor in Leesburg. (05/02) Judy Hayes is having some medical problems. Most recently she has been found to be anemic from her problems with her kidneys. She is getting iron supplements. (01/31) Marie and Francis Twitchel, pray for their overall health and well-being. Please hold Nancy up in prayer, too. (03/21) Marian True continues to improve. Please pray that she will find the right balance in regulating her blood sugar. (03/28). Lind True has bronchitis. (05/02) Wilma Hite has been having problems with her back. Her doctor has recommended a course of physical therapy to see if that may bring some relief (01/10) Jerilyn nephew Joshua was admitted to a drug rehab center on Saturday night in Mississippi. It is a Bible-based facility where he will be for 15 months. He will be 24 next month. He was baptized recently and is continuing to improve daily. (12/18) Pastor Paul Aun, the pastor at Compassion Baptist Church, had to return to South Korea for medical treatment. Pray for their church as he is away. He will be back sometime in early June. (05/05) Florence and George Wanic, Mat’s grandparents – George had triple bypass surgery three weeks ago. Mat’s dad and auntie have gone out to Hawaii to take care of his grandmother while George is in rehab. Pray for all involved – but mostly for opportunities for my father to share the gospel (05/05) Dean James, Jerilyn’s neighbor, is out of work for 4 months after getting his knee replaced because an artery got nicked. (04/25) Linda Sallee’s friend, Debrah, her father, Curt Stoner, was diagnosed with stage-4 lung cancer. (05/05) Jean Connelly, Judy’s friend, is currently at Heritage Hall. She is unable to walk due to side effects from chimo. Her husband passed and is going to be interred at Arlington. (05/05) Special Requests The Lord’s provision in a regular piano player for our church. (03/06) Our community outreach day is scheduled for July 20. Please be in prayer for specifically for the ones who will be coming that their hearts will be open to the story presented and for all members to be open to God’s will in how to help and talk with the ones coming.(04/11) Kat Schoggen, has been selected to candidate with Cadence International – a missions organization that ministers to military members and their families stationed both domestically and abroad. (05/05) Jerilyn’s brother Robert is going to Korea. (02/28) There are a lot of folks who have mentioned things to pray about that they don’t want made known. Let’s be sure that we are lifting each other up in prayer. We don’t know the kinds of storms people around us are going through.
