The Beretitenti elect and wife arrive by state car from the entrance gate of the Maneaba ni Maungatabu and stop at the front of the main Chamber where a Police Officer stands to open the car doors Guard of Honor to present arms The Beretitenti elect and wife are received and escorted by the Commissioner of Police to the front door of the Maneaba ni Maungatabu. The Beretitenti elect and wife are received by the Hon Speaker Mr Teatao Teannaki at the front door of the Maneaba ni Maungatabu. The Beretitenti elect and wife are escorted by the Commissioner of Police to their seats inside the main Chamber (the Hon Speaker remains at the door to receive the arrival of the Chief Justice)

The Honorable Chief Justice arrives by car from the entrance gate of the Maneaba ni Maungatabu and stops at the front door of the main Chamber where a Police Officer stands to open the car doors. The Commissioner of Police receives and escorts the Hon. Chief Justice to the dias (CJ’s car withdraws) The Hon. Chief Justice takes his position on the dias Guard of Honor to present arms General Salute

The Hon. Chief Justice is received by the Hon Speaker, and escorted by the Commissioner of Police to the Chair (Everyone stands as the Hon Chief Justice enters the Chamber) The Hon. Speaker and Commissioner of Police walk to their seats (all remain standing) The Hon. Chief Justice stands facing the front entrance of the Maneaba ni Maungatabu All bow The Hon. Chief Justice sits Everyone sits

Address by the Hon. Chief Justice

The Beretitenti elect is escorted by the Commissioner of Police to the Oath Table at the center of the Chamber for the Oath taking. (The Commissioner of Police returns to his place and remain standing). After the Oath, the Commissioner of Police escorts Te Beretitenti to the Hon. Chief Justice for the signing of the Oath. The Beretitenti signs his Oath. (Both Te Beretitenti and Chief Justice remain standing) Blessing of the Oath by His Lordship or Moderator The Hon. Chief Justice congratulates the Beretitenti and is escorted by the Commissioner of Police to his seat. (Everyone Stands) H.E. Te Beretitenti remain standing facing front entrance of the Maneaba ni Maungatabu. National Anthem is played by the Police Band Inauguration Benediction by (His Lordship or Moderator) Everyone sits Address by the Beretitenti All stand now (and remain standing while Te Beretitenti and the First Lady, followed by Chief Justice, Speaker and Spouse, escorted by the Commissioner of Police, take their leave to the main entrance of the Maneabe ni Maungatabu and proceed to their allocated seats outside the chamber.
