Services for Canton Residents: BCMH (Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps) BCMH is a health care program for children aged 0 through 21 years. BCMH links families of children with special health care needs to a network of providers and helps families obtain payment for the services their children need. Families on the BCMH program have access to a Public Health Nurse.

Monday mornings - walk-ins accepted if time permits. Screenings are available for cholesterol/lipid panel, blood pressure, and body mass index (height and weight). By appointment preferred. Please call (330) 489-3322.

Childhood Immunization Clinic (FREE SERVICE) For infants through school-age children. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Walk-in basis. **Vaccines will not be given without immunization record. Monday and Thursday, 8:00–11:00 a.m. 2nd Thursday of the month, 4:00–6:45 p.m.
Tuberculin Skin Testing (COST FOR SERVICE) Walk-in basis. Monday, 8:00–11:00 a.m.
WIC (Women, Infants & Children) Program (FREE SERVICE) Supplemental food and nutrition education for low-income pregnant and breast-feeding women, infants and children to age 5. By appointment only. Please call (330) 489-3326.
CTS (Counseling and Testing Site) Clinic (FREE SERVICE) Counseling and testing for HIV (AIDS) antibody. Confidential and anonymous testing. Walk-in basis. Wednesday, 1:30–3:00 p.m. 2nd Thursday of the month, 4:00–6:45 p.m.
STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) Clinic (FREE SERVICE) Testing, diagnosis and treatment for ages 13 and older. Walkin basis. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and Friday, 8:00–10:30 a.m.
Travel Clinic (COST FOR SERVICE) By appointment only. Thursday, 8:15 – 11:15 a.m.
