The Rapture & Second Coming are two distinct events  Rapture, Christ comes for His saints (John 14:3; 1 Thes 4:16–17)  2nd Coming, He comes with them (Rev 19:14)  Rapture, Christ meets saints in the air (1 Thes. 4:17; John 14:2–3)  2nd Coming, He descends with them from heaven to the earth (Zech. 14:4)

2.) Vs 11 Jesus doesn’t come like other world conquerors;  NOT motivated by AMBITION & pride  His MOTIVES are righteousness  Fulfilling GODS PURPOSE and PROMISE 3.) Vs 12 says Jesus “eyes-flame of fire” meaning NOTHING escapes His penetrating, piercing vision (Heb 4:13). He sees into the DEEPEST places of the human heart. 4.) The blood on Jesus robe is of His slaughtered enemies. He’s coming to MAKE WAR and he’s wearing a robe. There is obviously no expectation of incurring any harm, for none can oppose him. He carries no DEFENSE MECHANISMS.

5.) Vs 14 - Four divisions/troops accompany JESUS 1. The CHURCH AGE believers- which includes YOU 2. TRIBULATION believers 3. OT saints - (Dan 12:1–2) 4. ANGELS also accompany Christ (Matt. 25:31) 6.) In vs 15 the “sharp sword” from His mouth means Christ will CONSUME the enemy (2 Thes. 2:8). The sword is the power of the WORD of GOD. 7.) In Vs 17 John sees an “angel standing in the sun” meaning that he is in FRONT, partially eclipsing the sun. Evidently worldwide

DARKNESS associated with the fifth bowl has been lifted- as the SUN is now visible. 8.) Vs 20 shows what the WARRIOR KING does with those who reject Him. In an instant- the one empowered by Satan is now thrown to torment with a mere toss into the Lake of Fire Greek words used today:

Today, when an unbeliever dies, his spirit goes to a place called hades, which means “the unseen world”—the realm of the dead When believers die, they go immediately into the presence of the Lord (2 Cor. 5:6–8; Phil. 1:19–23). Hades will one day be emptied of its dead (Rev. 20:13), who will then be cast into the Lake of Fire to join Satan, the beast, and the false prophet.
