How To Fit Window Rubber Covers These instructions apply to all our window finisher kits for the Range Rover L322. Note that the trim for the boot area side windows changed for models from 2006 onwards so we have 2 kits 2002-2005 and 2006 onwards. The 2006 onwards model will fit the 2010 model also. Kit Contents : • 6 x chrome Widow Rubber Covers ( all different ) • Instructions • Silicone Adhesive ( Black ) • Solvent wipe

Step 1 – First check you have all the parts and lay them out as shown below so you can identify each part. The longest parts are the rear doors. The shortest parts are for the boot area side windows. Step 2 – Before removing the backing tape from the adhesive do a trial fit of each part so you are sure where each part fits.

Step 3 – Using the cleaning wipe provided clean all of the window rubbers to remove any residues of dirt or grease that could prevent the adhesive from reaching full strength. Step 4 – Remove the backing tape from each strip in turn and apply the strips to the car. Ensure that the trims are pressed fully into place.

Step 6 – For a more professional result you may choose to add some silicone at the ends of the trims to fill the slight gap between the window rubber and the cover. Remove any excess silicone with a cloth ( baby wipes are great for doing this ). Do not try to see how well the parts are stuck in place as full adhesion will not occur for about 24 hours.

OTES 1) The adhesive will not work well below 5 Deg C. Once fitted the parts will be fine when exposed to lower temperatures but do not try the initial fitting at low temperatures. 2) These instructions are available to download in colour at www.PowerfulUK.com Care & Cleaning For best results we recommend cleaning this product with Autoglym metal polish as this will protect the product and also can be used to polish out fine scratches and marks without damaging the polished surface.
