Basic Servicing Operations may be conducted post-flight 1500’ AGL Maneuvering Floor Minimum, 3000’ AGL Recommended 3 Incipient Spin Only: 1 Turn in each direction. Minimum recovery altitude 3000’ AGL. 4 Deleted 5 Begin at 3000’ AGL/High/Low Key and terminate no lower than 500’ AGL unless able to land on runway. 6 Optional. 7 Required. 8 For tail wheel airplanes, include 3-point, wheel landings and tail-low 9 Visual maneuver 2

Time: 1.25 Dual, 1.0 Brief/0.5Debrief Prerequisites: Ground 1; Risk Management & Emergency Egress Training Completion Standards: General: Altitude ± 200’; Heading ± 20o; Airspeed ± 10 . Capable of performing basic aircraft servicing. Correctly calculates weight & balance, understands appropriate design limitations for maneuvering. Makes appropriate airworthiness determination. Maintains area orientation. Minimum Overall Grade Required: 1. Notes: A. Profile may be modified at instructor’s discretion. B. “Proficiency” for confidence maneuvers and advanced handling defined as “Safe,” i.e., grade of 1 for those maneuvers. “P” Annotation in grade column indicates desired level of performance required for progression. Grading a single element or two below desired level of performance does not require an overall grade of student non-progression (SNP). Grading to level specified in Table 1-3 required for course completion.

UNKNOWN: DANGEROUS: GRADE 0: GRADE 1: GRADE 2: GRADE 3: GRADE 4:

GRADING CRITERIA Performance was not observed or the element was not performed. Performance was unsafe (one element marked "Dangerous" will require overall grade of "Zero"). Performance indicates a lack of ability or knowledge. Performance is safe, but indicates limited proficiency. Makes errors of omission or commission. Performance is essentially correct. Recognizes and corrects errors. Performance is correct, efficient, skillful and without hesitation. Performance reflects unusually high degree of ability.

PROGRESS ASSESMENT Subjective overall assessment of performance this flight, 5 point criteria: BELOW AVERAGE; SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE; AVERAGE; SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE; ABOVE AVERAGE.
