Institute achievements CKSVIM has won the ‘Platinum’ Award' for been the best industry-linked management institute in a survey jointly conducted by India's premier bodies namely All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on 8th November 2016 at Delhi.
From Gujarat MBA Colleges, only CKSVIM Director, Dr Rajesh Khajuria was invited to receive the award in India-UK Tech Summit at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi on 8th November, 2016 at the able hands of AICTE Chairman Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Prof. Y. S. Rajan, Advisor, DST, CII officials, and Secretaries of Ministry of Science and Technology as well as Ministry of IT, Government of India.

STUDENTS’ achievements Kudos to Jigeesha, Deep, Parth, Dhruvi & Dhara for creating the COACH Leatherwear India Pvt. Ltd Facebook page as a part of their project for Google Engage Certified Agency's Digital Marketing Course. Their work has been appreciated by the VP & Deputy General Counsel @ COACH, Inc, New York, who declared the page as official. Special thanks to Priyansh Jikar, CEO brand/brunch for giving such a wonderful platform to CKSVIMites !

International Professors Visit to CKSVIM Dr. Thomas Berger, Professor, Department of Business Engineering, DHBW, Stuttgart, visited CKSVIM on 6th December 2016. He interacted with students on the topic "Enterprise Risk Management in Germany".
Conference / Seminars / Workshops 1) Talk on 'Wellness Program: Naturopathy and allied Measures' Talk on 'Wellness Program: Naturopathy and allied Measures' on Wednesday, 21st December 2016 for Faculties & Staff. The Talk is held under Management Development Centre, CKSVIM. The Speakers: Dr. Jignesh Patel, MD (Homeo) & Mr. Rahul Patel (Yoga Expert & Ayurved). 2) Seminar on "Orientation of Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP) & Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) & New Industrial Policy 2016" was organized by Management Development Centre, CKSVIM and 'District Industries Centre', Vadodara on 1st December 2016 at CKSV Institute of Management, Vadodara. The Guests of Honour were Shri. R N Raval, Nodal Officer,EoDB, Industries Commissioner Office, Gandhinagar and Shri DR Patel (in absentia), Deputy Industries Commissioner & GM, DIC, Vadodara. The Special Invitees were Sh. Y T Pavagadhi,Industries Officer & Manager (RM), DIC, Vadodara; Sh. Rajesh Maroo, Industries Inspector, DIC Vadodara; Ms. Neha Vyas, Industries Inspector, DIC Vadodara; Sh. Mihir Bhatt, Consultant, KPMG (Knowledge Partner GoG for EoDB); Sh. Nihar Parmar, Software Engineer, TCS (IFP has been designed by TCS); Ms. Nirali Patel, Project Executive, Industrial Extension Bureau (GoG) and patron Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Director, CKSVIM.

Conference / Seminars / Workshops 5) Workshop on “Breakthrough Leadership” On 10th October 2016, a workshop on ‘Breakthrough Leadership’ was conducted at CKSVIM by Dr. Charles Savage, Professor and President, Knowledge Era Enterprising (KEE) International, Munich, Germany. He commenced the session on a spiritual note by describing the meaning of ‘AUM’ and comparing its different parts with our life and its different phases. Then he spoke a little about ‘Digitalization and Innovation’ being need of the hour. He gave example of how Facebook makes money of the content we share. He also spoke about the concept of ‘Digital twin’ giving example of censors in the automobiles. Read More: leadership

CKSVIM Stall @ VCCI Vibrant Global Trade Show 2016 CKSVIM stall no. 19 in Hall No.8 at Vadodara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (VCCI) Global Trade Show 2016 at Navlakhi Ground, Vadodara from 1st to 5th December 2016. The Trade show was booked with some 500 Stalls, and 500,000 people visited over five day, in addition to Industry Associations, Chambers of Commerce and Trade Bodies from all over India.

Students' Activities 1) Times Public Speaking Congratulations Siddhartha Talwar (Batch 8) for been top 20 contestant in Times Public Speaking Competition held on 29.11.2016. He spoke on the Topic: Fashion – little clothes, more flesh Nowadays we are taking a lot of ideas from the west, though they don’t go with our social values. Torn jeans and tank tops are fashionable. It’s less about individualism and more about westernisation.

2) Free Press Journal (FPJ) scholarship 2016 Based on the profile analysis and interview process, Ms. Neha Mulherkar and Ms. Palak Pota (students of Semester I, Batch VIII) has been awarded the prestigious Free Press Journal (FPJ) scholarship for the year 2016. The award comprised of a citation and a scholarship amount of Rs 20,000/, which shall be shared by both the awardees in equal amount i.e. Rs. 10,000/- each. Congratulations for being the awardees for the FPJ Scholarship event. The scholarship was honored on 11th November 2016 at ITM Business School, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

4) Intra-College Business Standard Quiz 2016-17 Award Three CKSVIM students were awarded as they very proudly bagged the Intra-College Business Standard Quiz 2016-17 Award and made themselves and CKSVIM proud. The winners were: First Prize: Niharika Shah (MBA Sem-I) Second Prize: Nishit Patel (MBA Sem-III) Third Prize: Dhruv Mehta (MBA Sem-III) 5) Wheebox Employability Test 2016-17 : 19th to 20th October 2016 CKSVIM conducted Wheebox Employability Test from 19th to 20th October 2016 to understand how far the students are Employable and in which direction the students has to work to make themselves employable. The 70 minute online adaptive test measures major competencies in English Language, Problem Solving, Mathematical Aptitude along with Behavioural straits viz. Learning Agility, Team work and Adaptability of the candidate for employability and the outcome of the test will help Institution to identify core strengths and improvement areas of students in the form of a transcript and certification (Jointly certified by CII & AIU)
