SLOVAK ELECTION DATA PROJECT The Slovak Election Data Project makes election data from the Slovak Republic available to academic researchers, students, policy-makers and the general public. The data sets are constructed from publicly available information published by the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic (Štatistický úrad Slovenskej republiky). They are provided in a number of standard computer-readable formats, and – as such – are more convenient for use in research and analysis than the Microsoft Excel files provided by the Statistical Office. The project is managed by Marek Hlavac, currently a doctoral candidate in the Political Economy and Government program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
