Step 1: Complete scholarship application (available on-line 12/13/10) making sure to complete signatures requested below. Step 2: Please attach an unofficial six semester transcript (it does not have to be signed). Please DO NOT attach any letters of reference as they will not be used in the decision making process. Step 3: Please provide answers to the following five essay questions on a separate sheet of paper. Please only list your student ID number at the top of each page (not your name) and type your answers in 12 point font, single spaced. Please limit your responses to 150 words per question. 1) Describe your educational and career goals? 2) What single achievement distinguishes you from your peers and why? 3) What are three of your distinguishing/admirable qualities and which one do you believe separates you the most from your peers and why? 4) Describe a major life experience that has impacted who you are today and why? 5) What one piece of advice would you give to next year’s incoming freshman class (current 8th graders)? Submit steps 1, 2, & 3 to Ms. Taveira in the College and Career Center by Tuesday, February 15th, 2011. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS! Step 4: Complete your 2011/2012 FAFSA after January 1, 2011 at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Once you have received your SAR (Student Aid Report), please submit a copy to Ms. Taveira no later than Tuesday, March 1st, 2011. (Make sure you fill out a 2011/2012 FAFSA, not a 2010/2011 FAFSA).
