Jing Wang Senior Vice President, Head of Enterprise Model Validation, Global Risk Oversight Jing Wang is a seasoned executive with more than 15 years of industry experience in the risk management, modeling and data analytics space. As Senior Vice President and Head of Enterprise Model Validation at American Express, Jing leads a global team that is responsible for the independent validation and oversight of all models used at American Express across acquisition, underwriting, customer management, financial and capital decisions. His role also spans model inventory and change management functions globally. He oversees enterprisewide regulatory exams in the area of model governance and validation. Having joined American Express in 1998, Jing has held roles spanning the Risk Management function prior to building the Enterprise Model Validation Group in 2010. His expertise across all risk functions including customer management, underwriting, collections and information management, allowed Jing to bring a wealth of experience to the fledgling team. Having established a clear mission and value set for the group, Jing has been instrumental in working with business partners across the organization to drive a strong risk culture and elevate model excellence. Jing earned a Ph.D. in Physics, an MBA in Finance from Michigan State University and a BS from Fudan University.

Anderson Lee Senior Vice President, Global Head of Capital and Financial Risk Management

Anderson Lee is the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Capital and Financial Risk Management at Global Treasury of American Express. Anderson has enterprise-wide accountabilities for satisfying regulatory requirements and expectations for American Express in areas of regulatory capital adequacy assessment (ICAAP/CCAR), liquidity risk management, and asset-liability and market risk management. Anderson played a leading role in positioning American Express to stay liquid throughout the financial crisis. Post-crisis, Anderson has been integral to the transformation of AXP’s funding profile and ensuring that American Express has the capital strength and flexibility to support its businesses, as well as, return capital to its shareholders through dividends and repurchases. Anderson joined American Express in 2006, beginning his Amex career managing interest rate exposures and municipal bond investment portfolios of the company. Prior to joining American Express, Anderson held various corporate finance positions at Merck & Company. Anderson earned an MBA from Cornell University, a MS from Stanford University, and a BS from the University of Rochester. He resides with his wife and son in Summit, New Jersey.

Jenny Shum Vice President -Marketing Card Products and Benefits

Jenny is the American Express Cash Back Strategy and Innovation Vice President. In this role, she is responsible for the Consumer Services strategy for growing our cash back portfolio and winning in the largest segment of US Consumers. Prior to this role, Jenny was a Vice President in the Consumer Services Proprietary Lending Portfolio, responsible for product management of all proprietary credit cards from American Express. In that role, Jenny led the team in launching new American Express credit cards, most recently Amex EveryDay in 2014, creating differentiated customer experiences and growing engagement with the millions of card members within her portfolios. Prior to that, Jenny was the Director of Business Transformation supporting consumer services, small business credit cards and world service, where she was part of the team that led the transformation of American Express through the CARD Act and UDAAP regulations. Before joining American Express, Jenny was a management consultant at Deloitte, where she supported the Strategy and Operations practice working with clients such as JP Morgan Chase, Barlclays and Credit Suisse. Jenny holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University.

Priscilla Kam Vice President – Business Strategy Execution

Priscilla Kam oversees Business Strategy Execution (BSE) in Global Business Services (GBS). BSE partners with business units across AmEx to execute complex initiatives, manage change, and leverage insightful operational analytics to increase profits. They are also responsible for developing and executing the strategic direction of the GBS Vision and service model as well as providing our people with learning and development programs. Previously, Priscilla led the Strategic Operations unit for three years playing a significant role in shaping the GBS strategy and culture that is helping to take the organization to the next level. Prior to her role in GBS, Priscilla worked in Global Corporate Payments where she managed the American Airlines Corporate co-brand card, built capabilities across the Middle Market segment and implemented new business development ideas. Before AmEx, Priscilla worked in investment banking at Bear Stearns and corporate strategy for The Walt Disney Company. Priscilla earned her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and her MBA in Marketing & Entrepreneurial Management from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sonia Cargan Vice President – HR Business for Finance

Sonia Cargan is Senior HR Business Partner for Finance and the Internal Audit Group, which represents 2300 employees globally. She and her team drive a full complement of HR services to maximize the human capital strategies across the Global Finance organization. Sonia is a member of Jeff Campbell's Finance Leadership Team where she partners with the CFO and Executive Team to lead a transformational agenda including: building organizational capability by driving outstanding talent management, leadership development and organizational effectiveness and redesign strategies. During her 18 year tenure with AXP, Sonia has held a range of increasingly senior HR roles in both Europe and Asia, building a strong track record of successfully partnering with business leaders to drive strategic organization goals. Prior to her Finance/Internal Audit appointment in August 2013, Sonia served as HR Business Partner for Global Business Travel, where she played a critical role in the development and delivery of people strategies aimed at supporting accelerating revenue momentum, delivering world class relationship management to GBT partners, and driving global improvements in both innovation and organizational effectiveness. Nominated as one of the finalists of the Best HR Leader at the HRM Singapore Awards 2013, Sonia holds a BA Honours degree in Social administration and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Prior to taking up her role in New York she was based in Singapore. She is married and has two children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, but makes sure she also finds time to run having completed four marathons and most recently the Singapore 2012 Half marathon.
