SEMESTER TWO Semester 2 has now started and students should be settled into their classes. If you did not receive your Semester 1 Report Card, check with Mrs. McCullough in the main office to see if you have any outstanding materials from Semester 1. If you start to have difficulties in any of your courses, check with your teacher to see when they are available for extra help and visit the Departmental Clinics. Student Services can also provide you with contact information for Adult and Student Tutors if need be.

COURSE SELECTION The course selection process is now complete. If students wish to make a change, they will need to bring a signed note from home to Student Services.  Course changes will be suspended while the timetable is being built.

ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL LITERACY TEST Grade 10 Students will be writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy test (OSSLT) on Tuesday, April 10th. A practice test was done on Thursday, February 15th to give students an opportunity to brush up on their skills before the OSSLT in April.  For additional information and practice, the EQAO website is a great resource - www.eqao.com.

There are many community programs that run over the break that you could look into.  Visit Student Services to check out the volunteer bulletin board,  or take a look at www.volunteerhalton.ca to get some ideas!

Students, parents/guardians and the community will have the opportunity to complete the "Have Your Say HDSB" survey by visiting www.haveyoursayhdsb.ca. Students will have the opportunity to complete the survey in class from Monday, February 26th to Wednesday, February 28th. The survey can also be done from home.
