Fruitvale ISD is an 2A district located in Van Zandt County with approximately 400 students in Head Start through 12th grade. We are located on Highway 80 approximately half way between Dallas and Tyler.

Fruitvale ISD offers many programs and services to our students including small class size settings, Head Start, and a full-day Pre-Kindergarten. We are a small but progressive school district. We are very proud of our technology and our current emphasis on math and science. In grades 4-12 we have a 1:1 student to computer ratio. All classrooms are equipped with projectors and interactive whiteboards.

In addition to the regular curriculum, Fruitvale Junior High and High School is a TSTEM Academy. Our students are offered courses in robotics, engineering and dual credit. Through our dual credit program and a partnership with Trinity Valley Community College our Seniors have to opportunity to graduate from high school with 30 college hours at no financial expense to the student. We also partner with UT Tyler and Educate Texas to provide services to our staff and students including our University ACE Afterschool Program from grades K-12.
