7TH ANNUAL HISTORIC HOUSE TOUR Saturday, September 24, 2011 ♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦ Dear Friend, The Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust is seeking sponsorship for their 7th Annual Historic House Tour to be held on Saturday, September 24, 12 PM – 5 PM. This year’s signature event for the Trust will feature eight unique historic properties, dating from the 18th century to the early 20th century. All proceeds from the annual historic house tour go toward Phase II of the Jones Log Barn reconstruction project. The 2010 Historic House Tour enjoyed an 85 percent increase in ticket sales from the prior year - raising over $11,000 for the Jones Log Barn project. With your help, we are looking forward to another successful Historic House Tour. Thanks to the help and charity of many, the stone foundation has been built and is ready to hold the log structure. The Jones Log Barn joins two National Historic Register buildings – Duportail House and the Federal Barn - and, when rebuilt, it will serve as a living history museum for the community. Further information on this reconstruction project is available on the Trust website, www.tredyffrinhistory.org. All of our generous supporters will enjoy premium benefits. The 7th Annual Historic House Tour is a great way to gain targeted visibility for you and/or your business. In addition to guest passes to the House Tour, you will receive a special invitation to a private Trust Board of Directors cocktail party on Friday, September 16, at a formerly featured Historic House Tour property. By becoming a House Tour sponsor, you will be included in all press releases, be recognized on signage at the cocktail party and at ticket pick-up, and will have an extended on-line presence on the Trust’s website. All sponsors are welcome to provide their company information, i.e. brochures, business cards, etc. for inclusion with House Tour packets. For specific information about sponsorship opportunities, please review the attached Sponsorship Levels. To take advantage of all sponsorship opportunities, a commitment is needed by September 1, 2011.
