➢ Your Employee ID is a six­digit number the District assigns  you.  ➢ You will receive two letters in the mail (after you have provided  HR with the information they need from you and they have  entered you into the HR system). The first contains your  Employee ID and your user ID. The second contains your  password for ESS/Access Jeffco (see below). They are mailed  separately for security.  ➢ For questions about your new employee forms, call HR at  303­982­6515.    ➢ Please keep your Employee ID number secure but  available for your reference.​  You will need this information  to fill out forms.    

➢ If you should need to call the Technology Support Center for  your password(s) any time during your employment with the  District, you’ll need your Employee ID to verify your identity  over the phone. The Technology Support Center cannot give  you passwords if you do not know your Employee ID.   

➢ If you lose your Employee ID or do not know what it is, you  can get it from the payroll secretary at the site where you work  or call Human Resources at 303­982­6515. 

               

   

The ESS/Access Jeffco link from Employee Connections.    ➢ New Employees will not be able to enter direct  deposit or use W4 information until their effective date  in HR.  ➢ Your initial user ID and password will be mailed to  you in two separate letters.  ➢ To find the login page for ESS/Access Jeffco, go to  Employee Connections. In the Quick links in the  upper left, click the ESS/Access Jeffco.     Critical Messages for Employees   All Jeffco employees should log into ESS/AccessJeffco and  go to the Personal Information section to update phone  numbers and email addresses for school/district closures and  alerts through the automated emergency messaging system.  ➢ The “After­Hours Alerts” phone number will be used  to send emergency closure messages, such as  weather closures, that come late at night or very early  in the morning, so make sure you put the appropriate  phone number in this field.   ➢ Use the “Add Phone Number” dropdown menu to  include a phone number for text messages.   ➢ The district is not responsible for any text message  charges from service providers. Text message  numbers will receive the “After­Hours Alert” as well.      If you have questions, contact the Technology Support  Center. 

      How do users at school locations get user IDs and  passwords for the student information system, Infinite  Campus? 

 

      Can I get an email account? How?    ➢ All active employees and Persons of Interest will  automatically receive an email account.​  ​ Your login  will be your ​ ESS/Access Jeffco login name.​  Your  email password will also be your password to log into  ESS/Access Jeffco.

How do I get a telephone number and voice mail? How  do I use my voice mail? 

 

  ➢ Telephone and voice mail will need to be requested on a  Systems Access Request submitted by your  Supervisor/Principal or school/department secretary.  ➢ If you have trouble with your phone or voice mail, go to  Employee Connections > Technology > Telecommunications >  Click ​ Voice Mail​  at the top left.  

 ​ Where is the Access Request form?   

➢ Supervisors/Principals or school/department secretaries have  access to enter a Jeffco Systems Access Request form in  Access Jeffco.  Go to Human Resources > Manager Self  Service > Jeffco Staffing Solutions > Jeffco Systems Access. 

  The Password Reset Tool    You must pre­register in order to use the Password Reset  Tool. Registration involves the selection of personal questions  and answers. In the future, if you were to forget your  password, this will allow you to prove your identity to the  system, and recover your password.    Telephone & Technology Support     ➢ For solutions to common IT problems, visit the ​ Tech Tips  website. If you need additional assistance, contact the IT  Technology Support Center at 303­982­2200. Or you can  submit a request online by logging into ​ ESS/Access  Jeffco​  and submit a SelfService Technology Suport  request.
