In response to your invitation, please find attached our cost estimates for the design / development and commissioning as per your brief. We estimate that the whole process will take about 3 months from the initial briefing session. Whilst HSD is pleased to be involved in developing various other graphic components for the project, the website requires a different interpretation of the layouts / styling to sit within the ID and still work under the various media formats as outlined in the brief. The Process Based on your requirements, we recommend the following process for creating your online presence. Design Kick off Meeting Following sign off of this proposal, we will hold a Design Kick-off Meeting in our specially designed “Ideas Room”. With your attendance and involvement in this creative session we will work together to ensure that our proposed website and associated promotional techniques meets with your overall project objectives. Website Design Prototype After our successful Design Kick-off meeting, we will create a ‘Website Design Prototype’ and present this to you. The Prototype will show you how we envisage the structure and layout of your website to be. The Prototype will not show creative look and feel (this will follow shortly after), but it will allow you to clearly see exactly what functionality your site will have, and how a user or customer would find their way around your site. Design Concept Development Based on our Design Kick-off meeting and your approval of the Website Design Prototype, we will progress to develop the Design Concept for your website. The Design Concept will showcase the Homepage design for your website, which will highlight the overall look and feel. The design of the site will be completely individual and bespoke to you and your business. We want you to be happy with your Design Concept, so we include two rounds of client reviews and feedback into this creative process. Design Template Development Once the Design Concept has your seal of approval, we will continue with the creative elements of your website, and commence the Design Template Development. Based on the Website Design Prototype and the Design Concept, the remaining page templates required for your website will now be designed and built - at this point you will have a full view of your website’s complete design. Website Template Development When the Design Templates have been approved we will use these templates to create and build all of the pages required for your website. Based on our initial discussions about your website, we understand that the pages and functionality required is as detailed in your brief.
