Macon County R-IV Wellness Policy The district goals and objectives cover a multitude of areas. One of high importance is the health and welfare of our students. The district emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and wellness of staff and students through implementation of a wellness policy, which may be found within the policies posted online or in the superintendent’s office under Policy 2750 and Regulation 2750. This policy covers many areas that are important in the over atmosphere of wellness that the district seeks to provide and improve upon. As part of this policy and program for wellness the district has a committee of stakeholders that meets occasionally. Inclusion on this committee is open and any parents and patrons who would be interested in serving can contact Julie Kelley in the office. The Macon County R-IV Board of Education annually reviews the policy and goals for the wellness as part of its program evaluation and review timetable (PERT). Annual reviews are scheduled in October.
