Assembly: Block each piece to correct height/width. Seam the two front pieces of the vest to the back piece of the vest along the shoulder line (check diagram below). Fold the vest at shoulders and seam from the underarm, then down the length of the vest on either side. Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.

Arm Hole Border Using 4.50mm hook, attach yarn in the centre of the bottom of the arm hole (at seam). Rnd 1- Ch1, sc in same st. Sc in the next 101 [111] sts, along the right border of the arm hole. Sl st in 1st sc of this rnd. (102 [112] sts) Fasten off. Weave in loose ends. Repeat “Arm Hole Border” pattern twice, once on each arm hole.
Vest Ties:
Ch4 using yarn and 3.50mm hook, sl st in 1st ch (creating circle). *Ch1, 1 dc in circle, ch1, sl st in circle. Repeat from the * 2 more times. Ch74, sl st in “Body Border”, towards front of vest. Repeat “Vest Ties” pattern twice, once on either side of vest.
Tassels: Border: Body Border Using 4.50mm hook, attach yarn in the centre of the bottom of “Back of Vest”.
Rnd 1- Ch1, sc in same st. Sc in the next 414 [471] sts, along the border of the vest; Making sure to
Taking yarn, cut 2 strands of yarn (10.5” [26.5cm] in length). Fold the strands in half/double. Knot the folded strands into the 1st stitch along the border of the bottom of the vest.
Repeat tassel pattern along the border of the bottom of the vest, skipping 1 stitch between every tassel. (46 [58] tassels in total)
