Dear Parents / Guardians As part of their Science work on space, Year 5 will be visiting Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire on Friday 13th October. We will be driven by coach to the observatory and attend two interactive sessions led by qualified observatory staff, with a break for lunch. There will also be opportunities to explore the site and further extend your son’s learning. We plan to return to school at 3.30pm. The cost of the trip will be £20.00. Boys will need to come to school in their normal school uniform, and bring a coat. We would please ask that all boys bring a packed lunch and a drink, in a separate named bag. Please make your payment via your son’s ParentPay account (www.parentpay.com), the payment item is titled: Year 5 Trip to Jodrell Bank.
